Cuala GAA vs Manhattan Gaels

Old Conna Avenue, Bray Emmets.
This Sunday, December 21st the Cuala Adult Footballers will play an international challenge match against Manhattan Gaels in Bray Emmetts. The match will take place on Bray’s All-Weather pitch as recent bad weather has resulted in all grass pitches being closed. To mark the occasion of Manhattan Gaels’ first match on Irish soil Cuala will host a reception in the clubhouse in Dalkey afterwards. It should be a great evening and we’d love to see you all there.
The Manhattan Gaels, Manhattan’s only GAA Club, was formed in late 2012 by an ambitious group of individuals whose passion for Ireland’s traditional sports was the inspiration for a new organization with a fresh attitude. They take special pride in introducing football and the GAA to Manhattanites who would never have experienced the game normally.
Availing of the huge population of young Irish and Irish-Americans living both in Manhattan and its surrounding areas, the club quickly developed a vibrancy and a structure, launching a successful weekly training session which was well attended despite the brutal cold of Randall’s Island.
