Cuala CLG have developed a pilot Coaching Traineeship programme which will provide opportunities for trainee coaches to develop core coaching skills. The programme incorporates delivery of practical coaching sessions along with some class/online based activities – organised by trainee coaches under the supervision of the club’s Coaching Unit.  The programme will focus on delivering coaching to children between the ages of 6 – 12 years of age within a school setting.

  • effective communications & constructive feedback skills
  • planning, coordination and organising skills
  • self-reflection and self-evaluation skills
  • post session analysis and critiquing skills
  • skills to create a safe environment for children to learn
  • sourcing materials, documentation & ICT tools
