COACHING APPOINTMENT
With the proposed restructuring of the Minor Boys Section – returning back to U18 for the 2023 Season – the Minor Boys Section is currently recruiting for the following 2 positions:
- Lead Football Coach for 1st Football Team
- Lead Hurling Coach for 1st Hurling Team
The U18 team for 2023 will now include the amalgamation of the 2005 and 2006 groups. It is envisaged at this stage that the first team for both codes will be in Division 1 for the 2023 season.
As there will be no U19 teams next year, the above positions are also key to ensuring a smooth transition for all relevant players to Senior level in 2024.
Applicants for both posts should send their expression of interest to minorschairperson@cualagaa.ie with brief summary of their coaching qualifications and experience to date by close of business Wednesday 7th December 2022.
All potential candidates will be notified of interview date and format of the interview by week ending 9th December 2022.
The interview panel will consist of representatives from the Minor Section, Senior Adult Section and Coaching Forum.
