RTÉ CAMERA’S AND A QF AGAINST CROKES

All roads will lead to Parnell Park on Saturday night when our Senior Men’s Footballers take on reigning champions Kilmacud Crokes in the Quarter Final of the Go Ahead Dublin Senior Championship.

It is a powerful local rivalry and it will be played out on a national stage with RTÉ’s cameras there to show the game live.  We think this may be a first time for the club with our previous triumphs being mainly on TG4 so dust down the hats and scarves and let’s show the country how passionate a supporter base we can be.

Match tickets can be booked online at. https://www.dublingaa.ie/tickets. Throw-in is at 7.

Before that, the intermediate footballers are home in Hyde against St Brigids in a relegation playoff. To state the obvious a win is needed and they really the ‘16th man’ support.

And to cap a treble of Saturday big ball action our Minor A Girls are playing in their Championship Semi Final against local rivals Foxrock Cabinteely.  3 PM the start time for this at Meadowvale.  It’s possible to do all three so let’s go for it.

Then on Sunday, the Junior 1 men’s footballers are in Quarter Final action with a tough away trip to Castleknock for an 11.00 throw-in. Then at 3.00 PM on Sunday the Junior 4’s bring the weekend football action to a close with a home match in Hyde v Round Towers Clondalkin. Last match of the group and win needed to avoid any risk of being dragged into relegation playoffs.

You’d only be giddy with the excitement of it all.
