CATHAL TIERNEY (Ó TIGHEARNAIGH) R.I.P.
It was with great sadness that we heard of the sudden passing in Chicago of Cathal Tierney, close brother to Dearbhail (Sheanon), Ríonach (O’Callaghan), Fionán in New York and Cormac.
As well as his own family in Chicago, he was a much loved uncle to all his nephews and nieces, including 8 current adult playing members of the club.
Cathal was a great supporter of Cuala and took a keen interest in the on field exploits and achievements of his nephews and nieces.
