Congratulations to outgoing Cuala Runaí, Ken O’Sullivan, who has just finished up a distinguished term of office. Ken can look back at his term with justifiable satisfaction and pride but, in typical fashion, he is quick to share his success with his many supporters.

“I have now completed the end of five years as An Runai Cuala and the time has come for me to step down from the role. It is essential that volunteers are encouraged and developed to take up roles within the club and I congratulate and look forward to supporting the new Cuala Club Secretary, Declan Murray, in taking up and transitioning into the role.

It has been my privilege to serve the Cuala Members as Runaí and I thank all my fellow Coiste officers and members, past and present, our games committees and wider club membership for your advice, support and help over the past five years. I also thank the members of the Dublin County Board and it’s sub-committees for their continuing support of Cuala. And lastly and very importantly, I thank my own family, Maria, Aoife, Conor and Orlaith for their encouragement, patience and help.

Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.

Ken hasnt hung up his boots entirely though. He’ll be taking up duty on the Minor & U16 Games Committee in the new year. We wish all the very best.
