AIG launches discounted insurance rates for GAA club members nationwide

Up to 15% off on

AIG in Ireland today announced details of a new discounted insurance offer which could save GAA club members up to a fifth off the price of car, home and travel insurance policies.  Club members throughout the country can avail of the offer by calling AIG’s dedicated GAA club member hotline on 1890 50 27 27 or by logging on to where the discount is available.

Dublin senior football manager Jim Gavin, senior footballer and AIG ambassador Bernard Brogan and fellow AIG ambassador and senior hurler Danny Sutcliffe were at Parnell Park today for the announcement.  AIG are proud sponsors of Dublin GAA and wish to help reduce the insurance costs of GAA club members, not only in Dublin, but across Ireland.

Commenting on the offer announcement, AIG’s General Manager Declan O’Rourke said; “AIG in Ireland is very proud of our association with Dublin GAA and are committed to bringing Dublin supporters the most competitive insurance rates available.  However this offer is not limited to club members in Dublin; it is open to club members right around the country. We see this as another sign of our support for our national games and fans all over Ireland.

We would encourage GAA members nationwide to call the GAA club members hotline on 1890 50 27 27 or log onto to take advantage of this offer”.

With the Dublin ladies senior footballers in action in Sunday’s All Ireland Final against Cork Declan O’Rourke also took the opportunity to wish them well.

“Gregory McGonigle and his team are now just one step away from winning the Brendan Martin Cup and we hope as many Dublin supporters as possible get to Croke Park to support them on Sunday.

“They have done us proud all year and it will be super to see them run out onto Croke Park on all Ireland final day.  Come on you girls in blue!”

Dublin face Cork on Sunday, September 28th at Croke Park.  Throw-in is at 4pm.
