In a historical week for Cuala Hurling, both 2nd and 3rd team adult hurlers joined the Senior hurlers in reaching the quarter-finals of their respective Championships. The Senior Hurlers win over St. Vincents in May propelled them to the quarters, the 2nd team’s win over Scoil Ui Chonaill on Wednesday pushed them into the quarter-finals of the Junior ‘A’ Championship, and the 3rd team’s dramatic win over Naomh Fionnbarra in Pope John Paul II Park last night, overcoming a 7 point deficit, propelled them into the last eight of the Junior ‘D’ Championship. Well done to all the players and respective management teams.
