Dún Laoghaire VEC Community Education Service in partnership with Cuala Sports and Social Integration Project is planning to deliver a new adult education programme to a group starting in September 2013.  The programme is aimed at people who may have left school without completing upper second level education and wish to develop their skills.  The programme will deliver two FETAC L3 modules, one in Communications and the other in Internet Skills.

The Communications L3 module will equip learners with a range of communications skills for use in social, personal and work life and will encourage participants to have confidence in using these skills in their daily lives.  Reading, writing, oral and electronic communication skills will be developed throughout this course.

The Internet Skills L3 module will develop skills in accessing and using the Internet as well as using and managing email safely and securely.

The classes will take place in the Cuala Centre in a relaxed and friendly environment starting in September 2013. On successful completion of the programme learners will gain a FETAC L3 minor award for each module in May 2014.
