A well-deserved win for the Cuala girls in this local derby! On a beautiful day in Thomastown, Cuala had the lead throughout the match with a half-time score of 1-3 to 0-3. It wasn’t our best performance as it took a while for the nerves to settle down and FoxCab started off very strongly. Cuala had a lot of wides which kept the score line closer than it should have been. Captain, Caitriona Murphy, Joe & Mikie kept the girls focused to the end. Thanks to all the Under16 girls who played with us. It’s great to have some silverware as we approach the end of the first ever Cuala Minor Ladies Football team’s year.
