26/03/11, Cuala Ladies Minors: Division 1 League: Kilmacud Crokes 5-12, Cuala 2-6

After a bye and a postponement, Cuala Minors went to Kilmacud Crokes hoping to pick up where we left off
when we won against Na Fianna.
It wasn’t to be as Kilmacud Crokes had different ideas.  Both teams were missing a few players. Hannah went bravely into
the Cuala goal. Fiona & Cathy played up from the Under 16s. It was an exciting match but Crokes had the upperhand
throughout.
In spite of Grainne and Leonie defending brilliantly at the back, Crokes were ahead 2-4 to Cuala’s 1-2 at half time. It just wasn’t our day, with lots of wides & a missed penalty.  Crokes increased their lead in the second half with great performances from their players.
Cuala Lady of the Match was Grainne.
We’ll view the experience as a learning exercise!
